Nestled in the peaceful village of Vatheianos Kampos on the northern coast of Crete, our studio apartment offers the kind of warm, personal hospitality that has been a cornerstone of Greek culture for thousands of years.

Your Host

Hi, I'm Dimitris — a software engineer born in the 90s who grew up in this beautiful corner of Crete. I believe that the best way to experience our island is to live like a local: not in a big hotel, but in a real home with stone walls, private courtyards, and a kitchen where you can cook with fresh ingredients from the local market.

My parents, who live in the front house, are known for their extraordinary warmth and hospitality — as many guests have mentioned in their reviews. They're always happy to help, whether you need directions to a hidden beach or recommendations for the best local taverna.

The Property

Our studio is a self-contained two-room space of 22 sq.m. with traditional Cretan character — think stone walls, handcrafted details, and the kind of authentic charm you won't find in modern hotels. The private outdoor bathroom, accessed via a short covered walkway, is a nod to traditional Cretan architecture.

Two exclusive courtyards give you private outdoor space for morning coffee or evening relaxation, while the shared traditional wood-fired oven and BBQ invite you to create authentic meals under the starry Cretan sky.

The Location

Vatheianos Kampos sits on an elevated spot between the coast and the hills, offering panoramic views of the Cretan Sea. The village is just 1,300 m from beaches, tavernas, shops, and everything you need, yet it feels wonderfully removed from the crowds.

Note: We recommend having a car or motorcycle, as the road is uphill and there's no public transport. Free parking is available right outside.
